The Department of Computer Applications was established in 2008. The Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA) program is a full-time undergraduate course spanning three years and consisting of six semesters. Currently, the program accommodates an annual intake of 34 students. It is affiliated with Alagappa University in Karaikudi, which emphasizes a robust theoretical foundation alongside substantial practical experience in relevant fields. The program ensures that students remain updated with cutting-edge computer technologies and is committed to delivering an industry-oriented education in applied computer science. Its objective is to cultivate graduates capable of meeting the demanding challenges of the Information Age.
